Union County Museum - 129 W Main St, Union - Visit the Union County Museum to learn more about UnionCounty's history. Voted “Best Local Museum in the State of South Carolina,” it is filled with historical items ranging fromlocal pottery, Civil War flags, photographs, paintings and books. The museum houses one of South Carolina's largest Genealogical Research collections.

Take a Photo - Union is a great place for a photo shoot. We have beautiful historical places, quaint stores and streets, breathtaking natural settings at our parks and much more. Many photographers can attest to the beautiful backdrops.
Timken Sports Complex - 725 Rice Ave Extension, Union - Offers baseball fields, softball fields, a walking track, a children's playground, a Miracle League ball field and a Miracle League All Star playground.
Military War Memorial - Union County has a rich history of military service, the memorial honors our fallen heroes. Located on the corner of Main St and North Mountain Street in downtown Union.
Cross Key House - 163 Old Buncombe Road,Union - Built from 1812 to 1814 by Barrum (Barham) Bobo, the Cross Keys House is one of the oldest and most significant homes in Union County and the entire Upstate of South Carolina. The house is located at the intersection of two historic roads; the Old Buncombe Road and Old Ninety-Six. Two old milestones indicating the distances to Union and Columbia remain in front of the house. The house was a prosperous plantation that also provided a welcome stop for travelers. Tradition supported by diaries hold that Jefferson Davis, some members of his cabinet and a military escort made their last stop in Union and had the noon meal at the Cross Keys House on their flight from Richmond, Virginia. There is a historic marker at the site and the house is listed as an historic site on the Jefferson Davis Trail. The last weekend in April sees the re-enactment of this historic visit by President Jefferson Davis followed by a live military skirmish, all free to the public.
Union County Arts Council - 116 E Main St, Union - The Union County Arts Council's (UCAC) office and gallery are located in one of downtown Union's most historic buildings. UCAC sponsors many events throughout the year that help enrich the arts experience of the residents of Union and surrounding counties. Visit our Arts Center to view items from local artists.
Union Carnegie Library - 300 E South St, Union - The Union County Carnegie Library opened in 1905 as the first Carnegie library in South Carolina and represents an important part of both South Carolina's and Union County's history. Voted"Best Small Library in America" in 2009, the library houses Union County's United Way, workforce development services and serves as the academic library for USC-Union. The library sponsors many events throughout the year for Union County's residents.
Rose Hill State Park - 2677 Sardis Rd, Union - Visit the home of the SC secession governor, William Henry Gist. Stroll the beautiful grounds and walking trails. Beautiful area for a photo shoot!
Piedmont Physics Garden - Located at 301 E South St, Union, Piedmont Physics garden exhibits medicinal plants and herbs and their historical and contemporary significance.
Union County Agricultural Fair - Held each October, the fair brings the people of Union County and surrounding areas together to enjoy the food, fun and entertainment you can only find at a local agricultural fair. Check Event Calendar for dates.

Independence Day Celebration - Union has 3 Independence Day celebrations within the county, Veteran's Park at 322 Veterans Drive in Union, Buffalo Mill Pond in Buffalo and the West Springs Baseball Field in West Springs.
